Guidelines and objectives

Ladies and Gentlemen,

We would like to invite you to participate in the conference and exhibition entitled: "Innovating Regions in Europe - Partnership and Economic Cooperation" to be held in Poznań at the International Economic Forum during the Fair of Industrial Technologies and Investment Goods. The conference will be organized on 14 June, while the exhibition will be held throughout the fair, i.e. on 14-17 June 2004.
The conference and the exhibition aim at presenting economic offers of innovative European regions, at exchanging experiences related to the development of regional innovation strategies, and at establishing cooperation between regions and businesses operating on local markets.

The topic of the conference is the exchange of experiences between regions in relation to the support of competitiveness and innovativeness of enterprises. The conference will be a good opportunity to present possibilities of direct support of businesses from the EU regional assistance funds (structural funds) and sources of advice and assistance for companies that intend to apply for co-financing.

Conference participants include representatives of the European Commission and the Polish government, Polish and European regions, business support institutions and innovative enterprises.

The exhibition will include a joint exposition of Polish regions and stands of the EU regions. We would also like to encourage B2B enterprises and consulting companies to participate in the exhibition.

The participation in the conference is free of charge.
