Krótka informacja:
W Instytucie Bioprocesów i Analitycznych Technik Pomiarowych w
Heilbad Heiligenstadt w Turyngii jest oferta pracy dla
doświadczonych naukowców. Zatrudnienie rozpocznie się 1
grudnia 2006 r. Termin składania zgłoszeń upływa 31 sierpnia
2006 r.
Szczegółowa informacja podana jest w języku angielskim:
Funded by the EC grant "Marie Curie Development Host
Fellowship"
we offer experienced scientists the opportunity to work on
measuring methods basing
on electric impedance on the one hand and in research on
electrokinetical phenomena
on the other hand. The research results shall be applied in a new
high throughput
system basing on a segmented-flow principle. It is the goal of the
project to apply
this new high throughput system to detect and manipulate
biological cells and/or
metabolites in various applications in life sciences.
The Institute for Bioprocessing and Analytical Measurement
Techniques (iba) in
Heilbad Heiligenstadt is an extramural research institute of the
state of Thuringia
in Germany. Current research topics are besides others application
of microsystems
and microtechniques for investigations on high throughput systems
and on measurement
techniques in life sciences. Additionally, the investigation of the
interfaces
between biological ambiences and technical systems represents a
research topic of
iba.
The Institute for Bioprocessing and Analytical Measurement
Techniques intends to
establish a project team comprising of experienced scientists from
December 1, 2006.
Following positions are available:
a very experienced scientist
The successful candidate holds a Ph.D (excellent certification) and
has at least
more than ten years of experiences on the field of described
research topics. The
candidate will be responsible for the research activities and will
guide the project
team. Starting on December 1, 2006 the position will be funded in
total 10 month
over a period of four years.
an experienced scientist (postdoc)
Also starting on December 1, 2006 the position of the experienced
scientist will be
valid for a period of 24 month.
During this first project period the candidate will concentrate on
conceptual
investigations, will develop microstructures for electric impedance
measurements as
well as for electrokinetics and will establish laboratory prototypes.
The Institute for Bioprocessing and Analytical Measurement
Techniques will place its
extensive, high sophisticated equipment and its experiences in
bioprocessing and
measurement techniques at the candidates' disposal.
Since the project will be funded by the EC grant "Marie Curie
Development Host
Fellowship", candidates are asked to look up the criteria of
eligibility for fellows
at http://www.cordis.lu/improving.
Equal opportunities, particulary between women and men are
given. Send curriculum
