Sustainable e-Europe

This major conference is being organised by SustainIT on behalf of the European Commission's Directorate for Enterprise, to obtain the views of business, NGOs and others on the relationship between sustainable development and ICT. It will focus on key policy issues which are of concern to DG Enterprise, particularly:

1. What are the key sustainability issues for the ICT sector?
2. How strong is the business case for corporate social responsibility (CSR) in the ICT sector?

4. Do larger companies benefit more than smaller ones from ICT innovation?
5. What contribution is the ICT sector making to social inclusion in Europe (of women, the low paid, the disabled etc) and can this be increased?
6. Is there scope for greater co-operation between the ICT sector and other social partners (NGOs, educational bodies, unions etc) to create economic, environmental and social benefit?
