Dear Sir, Madam,

We are very pleased to invite you to the official Launch Conference of the Polish Network of Mobility Information Centres, which will be held on 8th November 2004 in Warsaw.

The conference is targeted to institutions interested in contracting foreign researchers or granting them fellowship positions. We warmly invite all the persons who provide personal assistance to foreign researchers staying in Poland in all the legal and administrative matters.
We hope that the Conference will attract also all the persons supporting Polish researchers undertaking research position abroad.

We cordially invite the representatives of the higher education institutions, scientific and research institutes, research foundations and organizations, governmental and local authorities, representatives of the Embassies and other offices for aliens, to participate in this conference.

    The main aim of the conference is to introduce:
  • The mobility policy within the European Research Area;
  • The role and activity of the Mobility Information Centres in Poland and in EU Member and Associated States;
  • European Union initiatives undertaken in order to make it easier for researchers to take on the training positions abroad (The European Network of Mobility Centres, The Pan-European Researcher's Mobility Portal, new Communications and other documents related to the mobility of researchers);
  • Opportunities of advertising research job vacancies or gaining funds for research or hosting foreign researchers
